Hadith 22
The Book of Fighting [The Prohibition of Bloodshed]
It was narrated from Ibrahim bin Muhammad bin Talhah that he heard 'Abdullah bin 'Amr narrating:
From the Prophet (ﷺ) [ﷺ], that he said: "If a person's wealth is sought without right, and he fights (to protect it) and is killed, he is a martyr."
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ حَسَنٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ طَلْحَةَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو، يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
مَنْ أُرِيدَ مَالُهُ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ فَقَاتَلَ فَقُتِلَ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ
