Hadith 16
The Book Of Faith and its Signs
ENGLISH
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that:
The Prophet (ﷺ) [ﷺ] said: "Modesty (Al-Haya') is a branch of Faith."
ARABIC
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَبِيبِ بْنِ عَرَبِيٍّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْحَارِثِ - عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلاَنَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
الْحَيَاءُ شُعْبَةٌ مِنَ الإِيمَانِ
