Hadith 75
The Book of Purification and its Sunnah
It was narrated from 'Ubaidullah bin 'Abdullah bin 'Umar that his father said:
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'If the water is the amount of two or three Qullah, nothing can make it impure (Najis).'" (Sahih) Another chain with similar wording.
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ الْمُنْذِرِ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ
إِذَا كَانَ الْمَاءُ قُلَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلاَثًا لَمْ يُنَجِّسْهُ شَىْءٌ
