The Chapters on Jihad

ENGLISH

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

“The martyr does not feel anything more when he is killed than one of you feels if he is pinched (by a bug).”

ARABIC

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ، وَبِشْرُ بْنُ آدَمَ، قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عِيسَى، أَنْبَأَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَجْلاَنَ، عَنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏

‏ مَا يَجِدُ الشَّهِيدُ مَسَّ الْقَتْلِ إِلاَّ كَمَا يَجِدُ أَحَدُكُمْ مَسَّ الْقَرْصَةِ ‏
