Chapters on Hajj Rituals
It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:
“We were with the Prophet (ﷺ), and we were in Ihram. When a rider met us we would lower our garments from the top of our heads, and when he has gone, we would lift them up again.” Another chain reports a similar hadith.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ
كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَنَحْنُ مُحْرِمُونَ فَإِذَا لَقِيَنَا الرَّاكِبُ أَسْدَلْنَا ثِيَابَنَا مِنْ فَوْقِ رُءُوسِنَا فَإِذَا جَاوَزَنَا رَفَعْنَاهَا
