Oaths and Vows

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Do not swear by your fathers."
ARABIC
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهُ صلى الله عليه وسلم
لاَ تَحْلِفُوا بِآبَائِكُمْ
