The Humbleness Of Sayyidina Rasoolullah

ENGLISH

Anas ibn Malik said (may Allah be well pleased with him):

"Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) used to visit the sick, attend funerals, ride a donkey, and accept invitations from slaves. On the Day of Banu Quraiza, he was mounted on a donkey bridled with a rope of palm- tree fibers and saddled with palm-tree fibers.”

ARABIC

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ الأَعْوَرِ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَعُودُ الْمَرِيضَ، وَيَشْهَدُ الْجَنَائِزَ، وَيَرْكَبُ الْحِمَارَ، وَيُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ الْعَبْدِ، وَكَانَ يَوْمَ بَنِي قُرَيْظَةَ عَلَى حِمَارٍ مَخْطُومٍ بَحَبْلٍ مِنْ لِيفٍ، وَعَلَيْهِ إِكَافٌ مِنْ لِيفٍ‏.‏
