The Book of Purification
ENGLISH
Narrated Abu Huraira (rad):
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Whoever washes a dead person should take a bath (thereafter); and whoever carries it should perform ablution”. Reported by Ahmad, An-Nasa’i and At-Tirmidhi who graded it Hasan (fair).
ARABIC
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ مَنْ غَسَّلَ مَيْتًا فَلْيَغْتَسِلْ, وَمَنْ حَمَلَهُ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ } أَخْرَجَهُ أَحْمَدُ, وَالنَّسَائِيُّ, وَاَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَحَسَّنَه ُ [1] .
