Funerals

Buraidah bin Al-Husaib al-Aslami (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“I had forbidden you to visit graves, but now you may visit them.” Related by Muslim. At-Tirmidhi added the following, “It will remind you of the Here-after."
ARABIC
وَعَنْ بُرَيْدَةَ بْنِ الْحَصِيبِ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ فَزُورُوهَا } رَوَاهُ مُسْلِم ٌ [1] . زَادَ اَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ: { فَإِنَّهَا تُذَكِّرُ الْآخِرَةَ } [2] .
