Narrated 'Aishah (RA):
Barirah was given her choice regarding her husband (to remain with him or separate) when she was freed. [Agreed upon; it is a part of a long Hadith].
ARABIC
وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ : { خُيِّرَتْ بَرِيرَةُ عَلَى زَوْجِهَا حِينَ عَتَقَتْ } . مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ فِي حَدِيثٍ طَوِيلٍ [1] .
