A narration by al-Bukhari has:
"When one of you has been away from home for a long time, he must not come to his family during the night."
ARABIC
وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ لِلْبُخَارِيِّ : { إِذَا أَطَالَ [1] أَحَدُكُمُ الْغَيْبَةَ , فَلَا يَطْرُقْ أَهْلَهُ لَيْلاً } [2] .
