Hadith 14
Marriage
Narrated Tariq al-Muharibi (RA):
We arrived at al-Madinah when Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was standing on the Minbar addressing the people and saying, "The hand of the giver is the upper one, and spend first on those who are dependent on you: your mother and father, your sister and brother, then your relatives in order of their closeness to you." [Reported by an-Nasa'i. Ibn Hibban and ad-Daraqutni graded it Sahih (authentic)].
