Consequences

'Abdullah ibn Mughaffal al-Muzani said, "The Messenger of Allah, (ﷺ), forbade slings. He said, 'They do not kill game nor injure the enemy. They gouge the eye and break the teeth.'"
ARABIC
حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ صُهْبَانَ الأَزْدِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ الْمُزَنِيِّ قَالَ: نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنِ الْخَذْفِ، وَقَالَ: إِنَّهُ لاَ يَقْتُلُ الصَّيْدَ، وَلاَ يُنْكِي الْعَدُوَّ، وَإِنَّهُ يَفْقَأُ الْعَيْنَ، وَيَكْسِرُ السِّنَّ.
