Hadith 88
The Book of Pilgrimage
ENGLISH
Jabir b. Samura (Allah be pleased with him) reported that he heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) say:
Allah named Medina as Tabba.
ARABIC
وَحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، وَهَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ
إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى سَمَّى الْمَدِينَةَ طَابَةَ
