The Book of Drinks

This hadith is reported on the authority of Jabir but with a slight change of wording, and he did not mention the words:
" Putting a stick across the vessel."
ARABIC
وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ
وَاكْفِئُوا الإِنَاءَ أَوْ خَمِّرُوا الإِنَاءَ
