Hadith 2374
Musnad of 'Abdullah bin al-'Abbas bin 'Abdul-Muttalib from the Prophet
ENGLISH
It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) used to say:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to recite in the two rak'ahs before Fajr the Opening of the Qur'an (al-Fatihah) and the last two verses of Sooratal-Baqarah in the first rak’ah, and in the second rak'ah the Opening of the Qur'an and this verse from Al 'Imran: “Say (O Muhammad (ﷺ)): “O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians): Come to a word that is just between us and you..." [Al ‘Imran 3:64] to the end of the verse.
