Musnad of 'Abdullah bin al-'Abbas bin 'Abdul-Muttalib from the Prophet

ENGLISH

It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) said:

Umm Hufaid, the maternal aunt of Ibn 'Abbas, gave the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) some ghee, dried yogurt and lizard meat. He ate the ghee and dried yoghurt, but he left the lizard meat because he found it off-putting. It was eaten at the table of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and if it were haram, it would not have been eaten at the table of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).
