Hadith 3277
Musnad of 'Abdullah bin al-'Abbas bin 'Abdul-Muttalib from the Prophet
ENGLISH
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar and Ibn '‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) that
They testified that The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade gourds, green glazed pitchers, varnished jars and hollowed-out stumps, then the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) recited: "And whatsoever the Messenger (Muhammad (ﷺ)) gives you, take it; and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain (from it)" [al-Hashr 59:7].
