Musnad 'Ali Ibn Abi Talib
ENGLISH
It was narrated that ‘Abd Khair said:
I heard ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) say: The best of this ummah after its Prophet (ﷺ) is Abu Bakr, then ‘Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both.
ARABIC
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو صَالِحٍ الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا شِهَابُ بْنُ خِرَاشٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ بْنُ خَبَّابٍ، عَنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ خَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ خَيْرٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَلِيًّا، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يَقُولُ إِنَّ خَيْرَ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ بَعْدَ نَبِيِّهَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ ثُمَّ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا.
