The Rites of Pilgrimage
ENGLISH
Ibn 'Umar said that when the Prophet (ﷺ) was in the sacred state he used to grease'himself with olive-oil which was not <i>muqattat</i>, which means perfumed. Tirmidhi transmitted it.
ARABIC
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَدَّهِنُ بالزيت وَهُوَ محرمٌ غيرَ المقنّتِ يَعني غيرَ المطيَّبِ. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ
