Marriage

Safiya daughter of Shaiba said the Prophet (ﷺ) held a wedding-feast for one of his wives with two <i>muds</i> of barley. Bukhari transmitted it.

وَعَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ شَيْبَةَ قَالَتْ: أَوْلَمَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسلم على النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى بَعْضِ نِسَائِهِ بمدين من شعير. رَوَاهُ البُخَارِيّ
