The Chapters On Judgements From The Messenger of Allah

ENGLISH

Narrated Jabir:

that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The neighbor has more right to his preemption. He is to be waited for even if he is absent, when their paths are the same."

ARABIC

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏

‏ الْجَارُ أَحَقُّ بِشُفْعَتِهِ يُنْتَظَرُ بِهِ وَإِنْ كَانَ غَائِبًا إِذَا كَانَ طَرِيقُهُمَا وَاحِدًا ‏
