Makhul said:
The Romans will enter the Levant and stay there for forty days, and no place will be saved from them but Damascus and 'Uman.
ARABIC
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الرَّمْلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، قَالَ لَتَمْخُرَنَّ الرُّومُ الشَّامَ أَرْبَعِينَ صَبَاحًا لاَ يَمْتَنِعُ مِنْهَا إِلاَّ دِمَشْقُ وَعَمَّانُ .
