Abdullah b. Umar is reported to have said that The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was standing on the pulpit when he said this:
He who comes for Jumu'a he should take a bath.

مَنْ جَاءَ مِنْكُمُ الْجُمُعَةَ فَلْيَغْتَسِلْ
