it was narrated from Um Kurz that the Messenger of Allah said:
"for a boy two sheep, Mukafaatan (of equal age), and for a girl, one sheep."

فِي الْغُلاَمِ شَاتَانِ مُكَافَأَتَانِ وَفِي الْجَارِيَةِ شَاةٌ
