It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“When you dispute concerning a path, make it seven forearms length wide.' ”
إِذَا اخْتَلَفْتُمْ فِي الطَّرِيقِ فَاجْعَلُوهُ سَبْعَةَ أَذْرُعٍ
