It was narrated that 'Amr bin Al-As said:

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'The difference between our fasting and the fasting of the people of the Book, is eating Sahur."' '

‏ إِنَّ فَصْلَ مَا بَيْنَ صِيَامِنَا وَصِيَامِ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ أَكْلَةُ السُّحُورِ ‏
